| In FL for a couple of weeks and had dinner here 4 times.. Enjoyed every night but tonight with Justin as my waiter and his suggestion to try the Carpaccio appetizer after having 2 dozen oysters was a special dinning treat. It is the best value in Sarasota not to mention the beautiful presentation. Thank you Justin for a wonderful dinning experience.. - John Livecchi |

| We are from north Sarasota and never miss dining at Saltwater when in Nokomis. Great creative seafood, excellent sides (esp spinich souffle & potatoes au Gratin), Never bad service -- Nicki is our favorite. - JB Donaldson |
| 6/11/11 our first time having dinner at Saltwater Cafe - what a treat! Because our waiter Jake made excellent recommendations, we were more than satisfied with our meal.
Having experienced many restaurant meals during our long life, we have come to appreciate the fact that it is more than the ambiance, and the food that make the evening a success. The person serving us is the key to the experience.
We want you to know that Jake is an asset to your establishment.

| My family and I stopped in the Saltwater Cafe while on a mini vacation last week and our waiter Chuck was wonderful. The food was great, even the kids loved it. And the free ice cream after the meal was great too. We are thinking about having our after wedding dinner here when we come down in November. Thanks again, we will continue to eat here from now on. - Kris |
| We just happened to be at the right place at the right time and hungry. It was Sunday at the Saltwater Cafe .. Brunch..
Their omelet with amazing home fries was outstanding. My 5 year old daughter had the fish "sticks" which turned out to be 1/2 of a fish well battered and she enjoyed the whole thing.. this was a new adventure.
We enjoyed it so much we went back to enjoy yet another meal for lunch during the week.Fried Osters on a salad for lunch was fantastic...to top it all off with homemade ice cream... Just excellent.
Back north but looking to the site for wonderful recipes to bring me back to the Saltwater Cafe. - Tamara |

| went to Saltwater cafe lastnight 5-2-10, with my husband, his aunt, mother-in-law and father-in-law Bob Alexander, we had a great time and an awsome dinner. I have been there a few times now and it is wonderful everytime I go. The angus sirloin is my favorite. I do not eat seafood but tried the crab cakes and the maui. Both were really good. And our waiter was great. If you have not experienced the Saltater Cafe, you are missing out. It is a must try. You will not be dissapointed. - Shellby H. |
| Thank you so very much for providing our orchestra with a dinner banquet that they will never forget! Everyone on your staff was wonderful and extremely gracious. That is not always easy when dealing with a group made up of mostly under 17 year olds :)) The menu selection was perfect and the food was fantastic! Looking around the tables, we don't remember seeing a plate that was not cleaned off. Best place in town for our banquet - best food, best service and best price - look for us again next year! Thank you all! - Venice High School Orchestra |

| I've had the wonderful opportunity of working in the Saltwater Cafe's kitchen for the past 7 months. It has been one of the greatest experiences. Chef Rolf went to culinary school, worked hard and achieved his dream of opening his own restaurant. Rolf took me on in September as his intern, something, which he had never done before. He gave ne the chance to experience the atmosphere of a restaurant kitchen, where all the excitment and sometimes, hectic pace can be found.Initially the high counters intimidated me, as well as the heat of the stoves and the various recipes. I soon grew comfertable with everything though and despite the potentially daunting first day I knew that I wanted to come back and work in the kitchen as long as I could. Chef Rolf has been incrediblu in that as well as increasing my education in the culinary arts, he had me on his TV show for a Christmas Special where we made crabs, corn, alligator bites, as well as delectable brownie deserts for some of te kids at the Laurel Nokomis School.
In many aspects, working in the kitchen at the Saltwater Cafe' though was a sort of therapy for me. I could go into the kitchen in almost any surly mood and leace with the biggest smile on my face. The people that I worked with in the kitchen became like family. Chef Rolf has created a supreme environment in the Saltwater Cafe' for teaching and appreciating the culinary arts. The people there, the huge energy rushthat I get when I successfully flipping a crepe or omelet, and the laughter that I cause when people walk by and see me crying while chopping onions, or a squeal of delight that I make when someone brings me something delicious to eat will always be great times for me to look back on. Thank you Chef Rolf. You've truly given me an opportunity that I will always appreciate and will never forget.
